Thomas Reardon, Jr. joined the firm in 2009, after 23 years of working primarily for and defending insurance carriers and corporations in lawsuits filed against them and their insureds. As a part of the first 23 years of Mr. Reardon's law practice, he spent time evaluating cases in order to recommend settlement authority and to make recommendations on the best way to resolve a case.
Johnny Ward and Bruce Smith recognized the abilities and talents of Mr. Reardon, as well as his professionalism and insistence on excellence. Based on what they saw in Mr. Reardon, they asked him to join their partnership in 2009.
Mr. Reardon has experience in both trial and appellate work. He served as a briefing attorney for the Eleventh State Court of Appeals in Eastland, Texas, during his first year out of law school, working for the Court during the 1984-85 term. He then became associated with Ramey & Flock Law Firm in Tyler, Texas, where he began his litigation career.
Mr. Reardon has argued cases before trial and appellate courts in the state of Texas. Over the years, in addition to handling insurance-related matters, Mr. Reardon has handled a variety of cases including business litigation matters, contract disputes, personal injury claims, and deceptive trade practice claims.
