Johnny Ward has served as the lead trial attorney in more than 30 jury trials involving a variety of challenging legal issues. This includes verdicts in cases covering car wrecks, 18-wheeler accidents, wrongful death and survival claims, premises liability, medical malpractice, consumer disputes, first-party insurance claims, will contests, civil rights violations, and patent infringement actions.
Not only has Mr. Ward tried a wide variety of cases, but he has done so with great success. He has secured major courtroom victories against some of the world’s most recognizable companies, such as Samsung and Microsoft. Mr. Ward’s courtroom work has helped him earn a national reputation in high stakes litigation, including assisting lawyers from around the country in complex cases before East Texas juries.
Mr. Ward served as a special prosecutor in Cass County, Texas, after winning a substantial wrongful death verdict against a man who later was indicted for his wife’s murder.
